11. SMS / Text Message Program
Program Overview
Matrix Advanced Solutions LLC operates an SMS messaging program (“Matrix Advanced Solutions LLC SMS Alerts”) used to send two distinct categories of messages to opted-in contacts:
- Service / transactional messages — catalog-ready notifications, onboarding and appointment reminders, order and shipping updates, account verification prompts, and customer-support replies.
- Marketing / promotional messages — new-product releases, restocks, protocol updates, and clinic-focused educational content. These are sent only to contacts who provide separate, independent consent.
How Users Opt In
Opt-in is collected exclusively through web forms on matrixadvancedsolutions.com. There is no keyword-based opt-in, point-of-sale collection, or third-party list acquisition.
A visitor may optionally submit their phone number through one of our web forms (including the catalog request, contact, clinic onboarding, and strategy call forms) and, if they wish to receive SMS, actively check one or both of two separate, unchecked consent checkboxes. Both the phone field and the consent checkboxes are optional — the form can be submitted without either, and SMS messages are only sent to phone numbers where the corresponding checkbox was explicitly ticked.
- A Service / Reminders checkbox authorizing automated reminders and service-based messages.
- A Marketing / Promotional checkbox, independent of the service checkbox, authorizing marketing and promotional messages.
Neither checkbox is pre-selected. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. At the moment of submission, we capture and retain the consent timestamp, IP address, user agent, and the exact checkbox text accepted as evidence of opt-in.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by recipient activity and typically ranges from approximately 2 to 8 messages per month per opted-in contact. Marketing messages are sent only to contacts who separately opted in to the marketing category.
Fees
Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you and from you, based on your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-Out and Help
You may cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or OUT to 831-298-8933. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. To rejoin, complete the opt-in process again on our website. For assistance, reply HELP or email leo@matrixadvancedsolutions.com.
Age Requirement
Participation in the SMS program is limited to U.S. recipients 18 years of age or older.
Data Handling
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the text message services required to transmit the messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full details are set out in the Mobile & SMS Data Protection section above and in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
